From to , I was an actuarial consultant at Algorithmics (an IBM company from and formerly a member of the Fitch Group), following the sale of a software business by Towers Watson. I wrote user documentation and provided user support for a piece of financial modelling software.

Towers Watson (formerly Watson Wyatt)

From to , I was an actuarial consultant at Towers Watson (formerly Watson Wyatt), following the outsourcing of the actuarial department of Barclays Life. Initially, my work was largely a continuation of what I had been doing while working for Barclays Bank, but from , I became increasingly involved with the user documentation for a piece of financial modelling software produced internally and used both internally and by external clients. I was based at 21 Tothill Street, London, SW1H 9LL.

From to , I was a trainee actuary at Barclays Bank. I joined Barclays straight from university and worked in the finance actuarial team. My work mainly concerned the embedded valuations of Barclays Life. I was based at Murray House, 1 Royal Mint Court, London, EC3N 4HH.
